Do I look familiar?

I've been in your living room over the years.

Now allow me in your kitchen!!!

The mother of Jacquel, wife of Dontey, an entrepreneur, singer, actress, & non-trained dancer that moves extremely well, was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. While attending high school as an opera major at The Baltimore School for the Arts, she received a scholarship from The John's Hopkins Peabody Institute of Music to participate in an after school program to study Jazz.  Upon graduating from high school, she received several scholarships to attend The University of the Arts (formerly known as The Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts), to further her studies in Opera.

Though Fuschia! really enjoyed opera, she agreed with her teachers that she had too much energy to stand still & that her interpretive dance was not to be part of her recitals. Little did they know that dance was her first love. Early on in life she was told that she was too fat to dance. That did not stop Fuschia! She took that moment and discovered more. She was given her first opportunity to sing, act, & move extremely well ~ all at the same time, at Philadelphia's Riverfront Dinner Theatre production of The Wiz, playing the lead role as Dorothy, then as the Narrator in Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. From there, it was non-stop to New York.

Ok, let's speed things up before you fall asleep. Here are some of Fuschia!'s New York & Los Angeles credits, a few in which she was an Ovation, GLAAD, & NAACP Theatre Awards Nominee.

During The Lion King, Fuschia! landed a reoccurring role on Days of Our Lives. She decided after The Lion King, she would take a little break from musical theatre and pursue her talents in Film & TV. Here's a quick review of past & most recent credits:

She is most excited about her latest work as "Peachfuzz" in Dreamworks newest animation of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, as well as her role as "Drill Sergeant" in Disney's Oscar-winning animated film of Zootopia. Other animation credits include: The Cleveland Show; The Life & Times of Tim, & Little Bill

Fuschia! the Entrepreneur, is the President of ASOTH Entertainment Inc (A Sister Out To Help); & owner of Fuschia's Love Cakes & Thangs, a home based business of baked good & other "thangs"~ made with what you want or don't want. She hopes in the near future, to own a cafe' & name it, Letha Mae's Cafe', after her mom. Part of the proceeds will go towards more research to fight ovarian cancer and The Smile Train. Be on the lookout for her Building Fund-raiser. In the meantime, you can be added to the emailing list by going to daughterofletha@sbcglobal.net

Until then, she says, "I will continue to look forward to working in the next Emmy Award series, that Oscar winning movie, & that Tony Award winning show.  And of course I wouldn't mind receiving one of those awards just to say, "To God Be The Glory!" For without him in my life, none of these things I've done or about to do, would be possible. Oh yea,  I'm also a Kundalini yoga teacher ~ God Bless & Namaste".
